LEGAL OWNERSHIP DECLARATION

ChooseOurDate — including its platform, brand, concept, codebase, content, AI systems, and all associated intellectual property — is solely and exclusively owned by ChooseOurDate LLC. No other individual, entity, or organization holds any ownership interest, claim, or right to this project.

1. Ownership

All content, features, and functionality on ChooseOurDate — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, data, software, algorithms, and the selection and arrangement of all of the above — are the exclusive property of ChooseOurDate LLC, operating as ChooseOurDate.

This includes the AI experience planning concept and algorithms, the Kai AI concierge, the Surprise Date feature, the venue booking flow, all blog content, and all marketing materials. Everything is protected under United States and international copyright and trade secret law.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or imitation of any part of this platform is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability.

2. Brand Names & Identity

The following brand names and identifiers are the exclusive property of ChooseOurDate LLC and may not be used without prior written permission:

ChooseOurDate (name and brand)
The ChooseOurDate logo and wordmark
"Kai" — the AI concierge name and persona
"Surprise Date" — the feature name and concept
All related product names, slogans, and taglines

You must not use these names in any way that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without express written consent from ChooseOurDate LLC.

3. Proprietary Systems & Trade Secrets

The following inventions, systems, and workflows are proprietary to ChooseOurDate LLC and are protected as trade secrets and under copyright law:

AI-powered end-to-end experience planning system
Full-service AI venue communication flow (email, SMS, and voice call orchestration)
Surprise Date mechanism — concealed itinerary with partner reveal link
Audience-aware experience planning with multi-party cost estimation
Post-experience rating and automated follow-up system

These systems are the exclusive intellectual property of ChooseOurDate LLC. Unauthorized replication or commercial exploitation is prohibited and may result in civil liability.

4. Trade Secrets & Confidential Information

The following constitute trade secrets and confidential information belonging exclusively to ChooseOurDate LLC:

The AI date planning algorithm, logic, and prompt architecture
The full-service AI venue booking and communication flow
The Surprise Date concept, reveal mechanism, and user experience
The venue directory data model, enrichment pipeline, and contact acquisition methods
All source code, database schemas, and API designs
Business strategy, investor materials, and partnership terms
User data, behavioral analytics, and platform metrics

Any attempt to reverse-engineer, replicate, or commercially exploit these trade secrets without written authorization is a violation of applicable trade secret law and may result in immediate legal action.

5. What You May Not Do

Without prior written consent from ChooseOurDate LLC, you may not:

Copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any part of the platform or its content
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our content or software
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code or algorithms
Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
Use our content, brand, or concept for commercial purposes
Scrape or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
Frame or mirror any part of the site without written consent
Claim ownership of, or attempt to register, any trademark, domain, or brand that is confusingly similar to ChooseOurDate
Use our brand name or logo in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation
Build a competing product that substantially replicates the concept, design, or features of ChooseOurDate

6. Limited License to Users

ChooseOurDate LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use ChooseOurDate for your personal, non-commercial use only. This means you can use the platform to plan dates and experiences for yourself — but you cannot resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit anything from the platform.

7. International Protection

The intellectual property rights of ChooseOurDate LLC in ChooseOurDate are protected under the laws of the United States and, by virtue of international treaties, in countries throughout the world. These include but are not limited to:

The Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
The Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS)
The WIPO Copyright Treaty
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

8. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

If you believe any content on ChooseOurDate infringes your copyright, please contact us with a written DMCA notice including:

A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on our site
Your name, address, phone number, and email address
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Your physical or electronic signature

9. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved by ChooseOurDate LLC. No license or right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise. Violations may result in civil and/or criminal penalties under applicable law, including injunctive relief, damages, and recovery of legal fees.
